Great cartoon. Good for you to use a cartoon to provide moral support to the brave Ali Farzat. It’s in the same spirit as his cartoons, and poetic that it’s in the form of a cartoon.
Great work Michel! I would like to link you from my site for a post I am doing on the anniversary of September 11th. I found the post card version of “and I Love New York” and it is the center piece of a favorable view of my memories of “old” New York. I would like to credit your fine creation and send the curious to this site if it is o.k. with you.
Best, Greg Van Antwerp
PS – the post in question is not yet published, but if you would like to see my site: http://videomartyr.blogspot.com/
I am also new cartoonist and wish I had even a 10th your skill… http://littleguycomix.blogspot.com/
Dear Greg, I had a quick look at your site. I give you my OK to your request.
By the way, I was born and grew up in Belgium (Liège) and live in Jerusalem since 1974.
Best, Michel
As the saying goes “The pen is mightier than the sword” or in this case “The pencil….”
Yes. Amazing that “words” and “sword” are made of the same letters? You can just hurt with words but kill with sword!
Right! Keen observation, Michel! 😉

Thanks a lot Joel. That’s what I believe in!
